PROGRAMS

Induction & Awards Ceremony

Each year the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame welcomes a new class of inductees, selected by an independent committee of industry professionals.

The Silent Auction held at the annual Induction & Awards Ceremony is the Hall of Fame’s major fundraising event of the year. Attendees bid on items donated by inductees, board members, partners and businesses, in both live and online auctions.

Volunteer Awards

Volunteers are the heart and soul of off-road. At ORMHOF, we believe that the victory not only belongs to the individual at the top of the podium, but to the volunteer crew member waiting on the long dark dusty road at 2 am holding a fuel can.

Heritage Clubs

Welcome to the club. We’re proud to announce the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame Heritage Club program, recognizing clubs with 50 years or more of off-road history.

ORMHOF Pays it Forward

Each year ORMHOF proudly supports students around the country engaged in automotive programs with financial and moral support, along with ORMHOF shirts and decals.

PROJECTS

Dusty Times Magazine

Founded in 1983 by racer-turned-editor Jean Calvin, Dusty Times chronicled the history of off-road for more than thirty years. ORMHOF is now the caretaker of The Dusty Times archives, and it is our mission to digitize as much of the material as possible and share it online for everyone to enjoy, starting with the magazine.
Video tape images

Video Conversion

Steve Weiss of Clubhouse Videos has donated an entire pallet of historical race footage to the Hall of Fame. There are an estimated 300 hours of footage on 520 tapes filmed on DVCam, Beta, 8mm and other formats.

Judy Smith Collection

Judy was Inducted into the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2008. She recently donated her collection of writings, photos, and two shoeboxes of 35mm negatives to the Hall of Fame, which we look forward to scanning and sharing online as funds become available.
